Individual Therapy

Often, individuals reach out for therapy when something doesn’t feel quite right in their lives anymore. Common reasons people seek therapy are an increased sense of overwhelm, feelings of hopelessness, changes in social dynamics and relationships,  a newfound or returned sense of hopelessness, feelings of loss or grief, and more. In individual therapy, our work together will help remove barriers, resolve ambivalence, and strengthen your relationship with yourself. I trust in your skills, your innate knowledge of your needs, and your capacity for growth. My role is to help tap into what you already know, identify the patterns you may want to shift, and develop a greater trust in yourself to enact change in our relationship and in the outside world as well.

Adolescent Therapy

Adolescents and teens are uniquely positioned at one of the most vibrant and often challenging developmental stages. They are in the throes of identity development while managing evolving relationships to peers, parents, and their greater communities. I aim to provide a safe container for their unfiltered self-expression, where they can explore their feelings and questions in a nonjudgmental environment. We will work on strengthening their relationship with themselves, developing a variety of healthy coping strategies, and delving into psychoeducation so they are prepared to navigate circumstances around substance use, sexuality, and the full spectrum of interpersonal relationships with awareness and intention.

Relationship Therapy

I work with partnered people to navigate conflict, experience greater connection, and develop stronger communication with one another. I encourage people in relationships to reach out, whether they are navigating a specific challenge, addressing change in their relationship, or seeking premarital counseling. I welcome both dyads and more expansive relationship structures in the therapy space.

Family Therapy

I provide support for families in moments of disruption, uncertainty, and imbalance. Together, we will use the container of therapy to unpack challenging communication patterns, identify behaviors that we may want to shift, and, above all else, increase connection. I will listen thoughtfully and carefully to each family member to understand each individual viewpoint and what and where the obstacles are in your dynamic and how to shift them in a way that meets your needs.

Movement Work

I offer pro-bono counseling services for movement builders, activists, and organizers as one part of my contribution to collective liberation. Seeking to change the world for the better is a daunting task that can wear the spirit down over time. Using the therapeutic space to pour into yourself can be a powerful way to pour back into your communities. I will bring lived experience in activist spaces to this work, creating room to process navigating trauma, interpersonal conflict, burnout, compassion fatigue, and resiliency. We can explore ways to make your work more sustainable, connect you with what lights up your spirit, and nourish who you are as a world-changer and beyond.

Trainings

I am also available to provide 3-6 hour trainings that cover working with law enforcement in a crisis situation, how to effectively set limits and hold boundaries, and an introduction to suicidality. Please let me know if you are interested in having me work with your agency or organization!
